A Magical Summer Night in Amagansett

The best summer parties have three things: good friends, good food, and the feeling that you never want the night to end. Our recent Amagansett soiree with Cartier hit the trifecta perfectly—and added some extra sparkle. We celebrated the legendary jewelry house’s bold and creative Panthère de Cartier and Cactus de Cartier collections. Guests tried on pieces from a custom Cartier cart as they sipped smoky grapefruit and spicy cucumber margaritas around the pool. Later in the evening, legendary chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten unveiled a dinner we won’t soon forget: posole, a traditional Mexican stew with summer vegetables; lobster with red curry, mint, and summer peas; and roasted salmon with corn emulsion. It was a dinner—well, actually an entire evening—that was completely magical.
