Summer’s Here: goop Sag Harbor Is Open

There are the hallmarks of summer: that first sip of icy sangria, that first bite of grilled sweet corn, that first step into our Hamptons pop-up. Oh yes, people.

For the second consecutive year, we’ve brought a shoppable incarnation of goop to the East End of Long Island—Sag Harbor, to be exact. Designers Kate McCollough and Max Zinser of KMZ New York turned a quaint house facing the bay into an airy, bright, beautiful general store. The duo washed the interior in crisp white and light grey and sprinkled locally sourced antiques, furniture, and rugs throughout. “There are elements that you’d find in many Hamptons homes, like an English sofa, a mud room, and a potting shed,” says Zinser. And then there are the quirky-cool elements you’d never find: a freestanding Kohler bathtub anchoring the main room.

If you’re in the Hamptons, come by to shop our favorite summer essentials—and pick up a loaf of Eli Zabar’s crusty bread, delivered daily. We’re open now through September 3.

  • Goop Sag Harbor House front

Located at 4 Bay Street with views of the ocean, the pop-up “feels like visiting a friend’s house,” says Zinser.

  • Goop Sag Harbor Bathtub

“We wanted to create a luxurious bathroom scene, in-store,” says McCollough, whose solution was a deep-soaking, lumbar-friendly Kohler tub in front of the fireplace (filled with goop soaks, of course)

  • Goop Sag Harbor Closet
  • Goop Sag Harbor Bags

    A Hamptons-specific Prada selection.

  • Goop Sag Harbor Swimsuit
  • Center of Goop Sag Harbor shop

“The existing interior had beautiful hardwood floors, some classic Hamptons wainscoting, and exposed wood rafters that all felt very right for goop’s pop-up shop,” says Zinser.

  • Kids corner at Goop Sag Harbor

In-store exclusives: a kids’ corner of Rockets of Awesome gear and the coolest goop x Linus Bike wheels.

  • Herbal cocktails

Summery herbal cocktail dreams realized with Sir Madam, Nude Glass, and RBT barware, and libations by Ketel One Botanical.

  • Oils
  • Beauty products

Zinser and McCollough painted the walls in Farrow & Ball’s All White, a minimal backdrop for the goop clean beauty apothecary (packed with goods from May Lindstrom, Rodin, Vintner’s Daughter, Moon Juice, CAP Beauty, and more).

  • Two chairs
  • Goop Sag Harbor Garden

Serena & Lily outdoor furniture so guests can stick around and relax, “just as they might in their own garden,” says Zinser.

Special thanks goes out to our friends at:
