How long will it take to notice an effect on my skin?

Clinical studies performed on ingredients found in goopglow involved participants who used products daily for 12 weeks. In some cases, 6 months. The longer these antioxidants are taken, the greater the benefits. Consistency is the key.

When and how should I take it?

How many times a day can I safely take goopglow?

Ingredient science suggests that taking one packet daily is adequate to provide the skin benefits of the individual ingredients. That said, taking one packet two or three times daily is safe.

If I forget to take goopglow for a day or two, will it impact performance?

Taking goopglow consistently is the best way to experience positive results.

Do I need to take it with a meal?

The flavor is orange lemon verbena which is made from natural citrus essential oils and natural orange.

What are grape-seed proanthocyanidins*?

Grape seed (Vitis vinifera) contains several plant compounds, including proanthocyanidins (GSP) that act as powerful antioxidants offering photo protection for skin and numerous other health benefits through interrelated mechanisms of action including: (i) inhibition of inflammation, (ii) rapid repair of damaged DNA, and (iii) stimulation of immune system.

What is CoQ10*?

Coenzyme Q10 is a substance like a vitamin. It is found in every cell of the body. Your body makes CoQ10, and your cells use it to produce energy your body needs for cell growth and maintenance. It also functions as an antioxidant, which protects the body from damage caused by harmful molecules. CoQ10 is a natural constituent of foods and is also believed to reduce the signs of skin ageing.

What is lutein*?

A phytonutrient carotenoid found in yellow and green fruits and vegetables with similar properties to beta-carotene and vitamin A. It can help maintain healthy skin and good vision, help reduce the risk of cataracts or macular degeneration, and act as a potent antioxidant to help protect the skin and eyes from UV solar radiation.

What is zeaxanthin*?

Zeaxanthin is a metabolite of lutein that shares the same properties and affinity for skin and eyes.

Why are lutein and zeaxanthin taken together*?

They both provide multiple benefits to the skin: protection from UV light-inducible damage (increased free radical production) and decreased lipid peroxidation; and help improve surface lipids, skin hydration, skin elasticity, and skin conditions.

Where do goopglow lutein and zeaxanthin come from?

No, the product contains no sugar.

What is rebaudioside A, and why is it in the product?

A bioactive derived from stevia and used as a sweetener.

Why are IMOs in goopglow?

IMOs function as a natural sweetener.

What is silica, and why is it in the product?

Silica is used as a flow agent and keeps the product from clumping.

Is goopglow approved by the Federal Drug Administration (FDA)?

The product is not approved by the FDA as Dietary Supplements (DS) are not required to go through an approval or registration process like prescription drugs. 

Does the FDA provide guidance and regulations that are enforced?

Yes. All DS manufacturers MUST follow the FDA Part 111 Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and the FDA does perform inspections of the manufacturer’s facility to ensure compliance with the regulations.  

Has goopglow been tested for safety?

All the ingredients are “Generally Recognized As Safe” (GRAS) and are FDA approved for use in dietary supplements (DS) and foods. Further, the goopglow manufacturer tests EVERY batch for ingredient authenticity and contamination.

What is the shelf life/expiration date of the product?

24 months

Is it cruelty-free/tested on animals?

The product has not been tested on animals.

Is there a preservative in the product?

No, the ingredients are stable when kept dry.
