For a soccer-obsessed kid, seats at a Chelsea game are about as good as it gets. The Premier League boasts some of the best players anywhere (their matches are the most watched in the world), and fiery Chelsea coach José Mourinho guarantees a good show. The West Stand Lower is the family area; if your littles are on the younger side, you'll appreciate the no-swearing policy and the less rowdy atmosphere.

The flagship studio in Fulham has a spacious upstairs area for decorating your own pottery and a new party room in the basement—ideal for birthday parties and special events. The shop was set up by London's Emma Bridgewater in 1998, and has a very homey feel. Don't miss the adorable Little Toy Shop in front, packed with goodies for little ones. They also have a location in Battersea, and in Chessell, on the Isle of Wight.

This cozy, intimate bookshop has something for everyone. A separate children's section encourages parents to linger with their little ones, and almost every section in the store features bookmarks with comments by the knowledgeable staff.

Talisman's selection of antique furniture is indisputably one of the best in London, making it the first stop on any quest for rare and completely unique collectibles and furniture. Ken Bolan, the warm and inspired founder behind the store and workshop, has been in the antiques business for more than 30 years, so his relationships (as well as his eye) are really unparalleled. The store also offers a bespoke furniture line and handles even the most difficult restorations with care.

Charles Edwards specializes in reproductions and the results are modern and elegant lights, bases and chandeliers that give an edgy and sleek nod to the best designs of the past. Great for both indoor and outdoor fixtures, their star lamps are a favorite.

The finds here are beautifully restored and the owners, brothers Marc and Kevin Weaver, take special care with the display of each object. It’s not about period, it’s more about how well things go together in a space—and their displays, almost like vignettes, are both inspiring and stunning. Every few months, Guinevere changes its windows and those alone are worth the visit.

Exceptional gastropub fare with an emphasis on seasonal ingredients and wild game (one of the chefs actually shoots his own venison) are big draws here. Full meals can get a bit pricey, but it's also a great for a pint (they have quiz night on Tuesday) and a ridiculously good Scotch egg.
