Lia Kes grew up in a kibbutz in Northern Israel, learning to sew at an early age in the community's shared workshop. While she's very into luxurious fabrics (silks, leather, etc.), her shapes are inspired by her simple upbringing—comfortable, easy, and minimalist. In short, just the kind of breezy beachwear that's perfect for the Hamptons; this is her only shop outside the city.

No matter what NYC fitness cult you subscribe to, exercise is a daily fixture out in the Hamptons and this shop is dedicated to outfitting the endeavor. Owner Jennifer Bandier gathers luxe brands like Live the Process, Lucas Hugh, and Adidas by Stella McCartney along with the requisite Beats headphones and Nikes to finish off the outfit.
3×1 Denim (Closed)
44A Main St., Southampton
We've been pretty vocal about our love for 3x1 denim, so much so that we stocked the goop shop with some of our favorite pieces. That said, we wholeheartedly encourage an in-person visit to the Southampton boutique. It's one of two brick-and-mortar locations for the brand and offers the same made-to-order denim services as the Soho shop. The process goes something like this: get fitted, choose a denim from the 35-strong fabric wall (they source the finest raw and selvedge denim from all over the world), pick your stitch, thread, pocket lining, etc., then wait three weeks for your custom pair to be produced at the Mercer Street workshop.
