Spoonbill & Sugartown Booksellers
218 Bedford Ave., Williamsburg
Open for almost two decades, this independent Williamsburg bookstore is one of those places we can lose an afternoon in.
152 Grand St., Williamsburg
Street style brand turned fashion powerhouse (hello Louis Vuitton collab) Supreme has opened their second NYC location in Williamsburg.
93 S. 6th St., Williamsburg
Home to our all-time favorite golden milk (it’s thick and rich, almost like hot chocolate, perfectly balanced...insane), this tiny shop also makes some of the most incredible aged-cashew cheese we’ve ever had. Everything Argentinian couple Veronica Schwartz and Pablo Castro make is vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free, and soy-free, from granola, tarts, and bon bons to the cheeses, plus they stock a an amazing selection of adaptogens from goop Shop favorite Sun Potion.
99 N. 6th St., Williamsburg
Hands down, this one of our favorite natural beauty boutiques, which is why we're excited it's been branching out from it's original San Francisco location and opening up sister spots across the U.S., including Los Angeles, Manhattan, and Chicago. Staying true to its pure ethos, Credo stocks a wide range (more than 100) of the best non-toxic brands from around the globe, including top skincare and makeup products from de Mamiel, Ilia, Kjaer Weis, Kypris, RMS, Tammy Fender, and our very own goop by Juice Beauty.
111 N. 3rd St., Williamsburg
While they're best known for their gorgeous (artist-inspired) packaging, Mast Brothers places great emphasis on the art of chocolate-making—as evidenced by the fact that they offer tours of the process itself at each of their stores. The Brooklyn location is one of the three flagship stores and factories for the brand, which brothers Rick and Michael Mast founded in 2007 (the other two are located in Los Angeles and London). A package of bars makes for a practically perfect—and blessedly TSA-friendly—hostess gift.

Credo stocks a wide range of non-toxic beauty brands from around the globe, including top skincare and makeup products from de Mamiel, Ilia, Kjaer Weis, Kypris, RMS, Tammy Fender, and our very own goop by Juice Beauty. The original shop debuted in 2015 in San Francisco, and is also home to a Tata Harper spa that offers facials, waxing, makeup lessons, and more. The second shop opened a year later in NYC, with its own Credo Beauty Bar, where you can book similar treatments.
48 Grand St., Williamsburg
At barely a month old, this eco-friendly and local-designer centric kids shop (educational toys, cute-and-functional gear, home décor) is fast becoming more than just a place to shop. Spearheaded by Sprout Home’s Tassy de Give and a collective of four local families, the adorable, light-filled space is meant to serve as a gathering space for both parents and their kids for seminars, mini concerts, and story time—coincidentally, the kid’s book selection here is really on point.
Pilgrim Surf Supply
68 N. 3rd St., Williamsburg
This lifestyle shop kits out the guys who surf, like to dress well, and have a passion for hard-to-find LP’s and coffee table books. There are a few great options for girls, too. They also have an outpost in Amagansett.
Two Jakes (Closed)
320 Wythe Ave., Williamsburg
Two Jakes is the best place to find everything you need for a modern office. Though they specialize in work furniture, there are also great 20th-century pieces for the rest of the home. They also stock new lines, like Bludot.
59 Grand St., Williamsburg
Recently relocated to a brand-new, much larger space, Sprout Home offers a wonderful variety of plants, planting accessories, flowers, floral arrangements, and adorable home goods, for the city's urban gardener. They also offer classes from Wreath Making to caring for container plants in colder months. With its airy but elegant aesthetic, this store is truly inspiring. There’s also a location in Chicago.
