99 N. 6th St., Williamsburg
Hands down, this one of our favorite natural beauty boutiques, which is why we're excited it's been branching out from it's original San Francisco location and opening up sister spots across the U.S., including Los Angeles, Manhattan, and Chicago. Staying true to its pure ethos, Credo stocks a wide range (more than 100) of the best non-toxic brands from around the globe, including top skincare and makeup products from de Mamiel, Ilia, Kjaer Weis, Kypris, RMS, Tammy Fender, and our very own goop by Juice Beauty.
157 Smith St., Boerum Hill
Rime in Boerum Hill does a great job of stocking the best Nike, Puma, and Adidas collaborations. Even more impressive: They make it a point to buy deep into women’s sizes, too.
111 N. 3rd St., Williamsburg
While they're best known for their gorgeous (artist-inspired) packaging, Mast Brothers places great emphasis on the art of chocolate-making—as evidenced by the fact that they offer tours of the process itself at each of their stores. The Brooklyn location is one of the three flagship stores and factories for the brand, which brothers Rick and Michael Mast founded in 2007 (the other two are located in Los Angeles and London). A package of bars makes for a practically perfect—and blessedly TSA-friendly—hostess gift.

Credo stocks a wide range of non-toxic beauty brands from around the globe, including top skincare and makeup products from de Mamiel, Ilia, Kjaer Weis, Kypris, RMS, Tammy Fender, and our very own goop by Juice Beauty. The original shop debuted in 2015 in San Francisco, and is also home to a Tata Harper spa that offers facials, waxing, makeup lessons, and more. The second shop opened a year later in NYC, with its own Credo Beauty Bar, where you can book similar treatments.
9 Carroll St., Red Hook
Michele Palladino's nursery started in Gowanus (hence the name) but is now on the border of Red Hook and Carroll Gardens. She's known for having a great eye for plants, and you're likely to find something new for your garden space every time you visit.
48 Grand St., Williamsburg
At barely a month old, this eco-friendly and local-designer centric kids shop (educational toys, cute-and-functional gear, home décor) is fast becoming more than just a place to shop. Spearheaded by Sprout Home’s Tassy de Give and a collective of four local families, the adorable, light-filled space is meant to serve as a gathering space for both parents and their kids for seminars, mini concerts, and story time—coincidentally, the kid’s book selection here is really on point.
Other Times Vintage
48 Bogart St., Bushwick
Partners, curators, and co-owners Briar (who studied interior design) and Jason (artist, restorer, fixer-upper) started by selling their mid-century modern furniture and other great vintage finds on Etsy from their apartment, which went so well—and provided such a great excuse to get out of the city for weekly scavenging road trips—that they opened up shop in this cavernous loft space with gorgeous vaulted ceilings. They clean up, repair, and refinish each hand-picked treasure before passing it on to enjoy a new life in somebody’s home. They also rent pieces out on a weekly basis.
365 & 367 Atlantic Ave., Boerum Hill
Sohrab Bakhshi opened his antiques collection shop City Foundry in 2000, becoming a trailblazer in the now established design scene in Brooklyn. The City Foundry collection is comprised of mid-century modern and industrial-influenced furniture, lighting, and artifacts—some of which they rent for staging needs. They also provide custom upholstery and furniture restoration. City Foundry has multiple storefronts on Atlantic Avenue—in addition to their shop, they have a showroom—as well as a separate warehouse location in Prospect Heights, which is by appointment only.
Pilgrim Surf Supply
68 N. 3rd St., Williamsburg
This lifestyle shop kits out the guys who surf, like to dress well, and have a passion for hard-to-find LP’s and coffee table books. There are a few great options for girls, too. They also have an outpost in Amagansett.
138 Court St, Cobble Hill
Run by one of the most curious, energetic minds in the beauty business, this OG clean beauty boutique is famous for sleuthing out next-big-thing brands, so shopping here is always a thrill. Everything here is super clean and nontoxic, too, including goop‘s own line of clean skin care and some of our favorites, like May Lindstrom, Pai Skincare, and RMS Beauty. But the brilliant secret is the spa treatments: microblading, brow and lash tints, lash lifts, lip blushing, and the ultimate: a skin-transforming facial. The Signature treatment is an amazing and customizable detox with your choice of LED light, dermaplaning, peels, ZIIP current, and microdermabrasion. Add on the Revealing Eye Therapy, which uses icicles to soothe, smooth, and totally awaken your undereye area.
