Highly Likely
4310 W Jefferson Blvd., West Adams
Café Gratitude lovers rejoice: Highly Likely, owned by the same people as the OG goop favorite, is an aesthetic-forward brunch joint in West Adams. It’s not vegan, and there are no affirmations, but there are great breakfast burritos with house-made hot sauce, dense and satisfying seed cookies, and a hearty Japanese porridge—all on a stretch of Jefferson Boulevard that has yet to see a big-box takeover. That means great people-watching; delicious, inventive eats; and the feeling that you’ve discovered a spot no one else quite knows about yet.

Big Daddy’s Antiques
3334 La Cienega Pl., West Adams
For 20 odd years, Big Daddy has been filling a corner on La Brea with pieces sourced from around the world—and by pieces, we don't mean straightforward couches and case goods. This is the sort of place where you go for something significant and statement making, whether it's a vintage dental case, an antique birdcage, or a seasoned Louis Vuitton trunk. You can also find them at the Rosebowl Flea, or at their warehouse in San Francisco.
