Each one of these knives is handmade from start to finish by a single craftsman in the Tuscan countryside about 25 miles north of Florence, Italy; the initials of the maker are subtly marked on each knife, a tradition hailing back as far as 1895. The handle is made of hand-polished white lucite, with a carbon and stainless-steel blade. This set includes a 9” chef’s knife, utility knife, and straight paring knife. Plus, it comes with a three-piece storage block: each knife has its own individual wood block, magnetized so they can go together as a set; as an added bonus, each one is beautifully labeled with the Italian name for that knife. The food editors at goop use theirs daily.
