When the lithe, glowy Koya Webb breezed into the goop office to lead a midday meditation, we all dropped what we were doing and followed her down the hall.
We sat down, kicked off our shoes, closed our eyes, and soaked up her stirring affirmations: Love more, fear less; embrace the beautiful chaos that is life on earth; you’re stronger than you know. (For even more affirmations and life advice from Webb, read her book Let Your Fears Make You Fierce.) When we finally blinked our eyes open, our deadlines and the entire day seemed markedly more manageable. Webb’s been teaching yoga for fifteen years, ever since an injury thwarted her chances at making the Olympics in the high jump and hurdles. (She leads retreats in LA, as well as Egypt, Bali…) “Yoga helped heal my body,” she says. “It relieves tension, improves digestion, strengthens, and teaches
real self-care.”
We all resolved to get to yoga more often—and we also had to know her routine.
5:45 a.m.: I like to wake up with the sun wherever I am. Even if I go to bed at 3 a.m., I wake up with the sun and take a nap later in the day if I need it.
6 a.m.: I light a candle and make my declarations for the day.
6:45 a.m.: I cleanse my face with face wipes, and once a week I use a scrub. I love the way GOOPGLOW Microderm removes dead skin and leaves my face soft and glowing. I follow with a creamy moisturizer and head to practice—which is usually in my living room.

7 a.m.: Morning breathwork, yoga, and meditation are all I need to maintain my peace throughout the day. It can last from thirty minutes to two hours; anything less and I make no promises for high vibes. So the bare minimum is breathwork—or I have to stay home and rework my day.

8:15 a.m: Nothing’s better after a morning flow than an invigorating shower. I try to dry brush at least once a week and take a cool shower as often as possible. This ashwagandha body wash smells earthy and incredible and energizes my mind and body.
8:45 a.m.: I like to keep it natural when it comes to makeup. I’m down with any brands that are vegan. I use a water-resistant mascara from Ere Pres, and a new favorite of mine is Beautycounter Lip Gloss in Peony. I love the neutral color and smooth application.
9 a.m.: I’m (finally) starting my day!
