My hair is actually quite difficult to work with. I’ve treated it roughly over the years—with bleach, irons, and hot tools on sets and shoots, causing frizz and breakage. But now I’ve come up with this amazing clean routine to moisturize and smooth damage and frizz for really healthy-looking hair. —Gwyneth

Gwyneth’s Favorite Fixes for Dry, Damaged Hair

1

HAIR SERUM

For shine no matter your hair type or texture, smooth this in from roots to ends and wait 20 minutes before shampooing to control both frizz and damage.

I’m a big believer in this one—it really helps with split ends and frizz, and it gives you amazing shine.

2

SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER

Switching to clean shampoo and conditioner can make a remarkable difference in your hair. And these two—made with 11 amino acids, pea protein, and more—improve shine, bounce, and texture.

When I use these together, I get so much shine, softness, and bounce. And they smell so good—I use both every day.

3

SCALP SCRUB

Lather up this whipped shampoo to cleanse and detoxify hair and scalp of product buildup, dirt, and oil. Use once a week in place of your normal shampoo, rinse, and follow with conditioner.

This exfoliates to get your hair and scalp squeaky-clean. It foams like crazy, and a little goes such a long way. Men love it, too, by the way.

4

HAIR MASK

This rich mask helps strengthen, reduce breakage, and hydrate. Leave it in (after shampooing) for up to seven minutes, then rinse for your shiniest, softest, most moisturized hair ever.

I’m so excited about this—it’s really nourishing for your hair. It’s made to use once a week, but I have such dry hair, it’s more like three times a week for me.
