Color — Sage & Chalk
Beppu is woven in Portugal from an absurdly soft organic cotton terry (the closest thing imaginable to walking on a cloud), with a lively checkerboard pattern that adds a subtly playful element to any bathroom. Our advice? It looks even better with the checked Josephine Hand Towel and the gridded Bethell Towel in the same colorway.
Uncompromised quality is the standard by which every aspect of Baina’s craftsmanship is set, from its fine-arts-esque approach to color and design to the excellence of its materials. Each Baina towel is made using only double-looped ultraplush organic cotton terry (which is GOTS-certified—just one of a long list of certifications demonstrating the brand’s commitment to maintaining high quality, providing safe and ethical working conditions, and minimizing environmental impact). Founded by Bailey Meredith and Anna Fahey—who draw much of their inspiration from sculpture, architecture, and color theory—the brand’s goal is to bring an artful element to the bathroom and cultivate joy around bathing rituals.
