The origin story of Andrew Hughes’ eponymous glass line reads like something out of a movie: He was working as an artist assistant in NYC and began making one-off glass pieces for his own personal use until friends began to take note and purchase pieces as gifts. Coincidentally, he got cast as a glassblower in a big-time beer commercial, the paycheck from which served as seed money to get his business off the ground in 2006. To this day, every single item is designed and hand-blown in Brooklyn, NY.
