Miso Mackerel

So quick and easy, this four ingredient recipe is a delicious way to get a solid dose of omega-3’s.

1 cup of oatmeal

1 tablespoon of sesame oil

2 tablespoons of Shiro Miso

4 fillets of mackerel

1. Pulse the oatmeal a few times in a food processor until you have a fine grained meal. Put it on a dinner plate.

2. Mash the oil and miso together into a paste and spread it on both sides of the mackerel fillets.

3. Press the mackerel into the oatmeal on both sides and tap off any excess that’s not sticking.

4 Fry the fish in a little hot oil for a few minutes on each side, skin side down first, until nice and crispy and brown.
