These saved my life in Vegas.

Holy shit.

Last weekend, I had a staycation at the newish Corinthia Hotel and it was fantastic.

Crazy beautiful orchids greeted me at the door to my suite.

If you look out the window…

I have been on a tear trying new restaurants in London…

HKK: 15 course, cutting-edge, super decadent Chinese food in Shoreditch. Am I cool enough for this neighborhood?… Nope.

Corner Room: The best of local and seasonal British with a Portuguese slant in Bethnal Green.

Burger & Lobster: The name of the place is the whole menu, just burgers and lobster done to perfection. Worth braving the long lines for a slice of East Coast heaven.

Yashin Sushi: Small plates and inventive nigiri right off High Street Kensington. As the sign says, no soy sauce.

The Fall: I was totally obsessed with this five episode BBC series. I was devastated when it ended…

But then I found the French show The Returned, which may be even better.

This summer, I finally resolve to try home preserving.

J’adore cette montre de Baume et Mercier.

Butterfly Paradise exhibit at the London Zoo.
